Race Crew – Volunteer roles that need filling
Would you like to be part of the excitement of the day but don’t want to run? Why not volunteer to be part of the race crew and help make the event a success? It takes hundreds of people to ensure the event runs smoothly, so becoming a Guernsey Marathon volunteer means you play an active role in the overall success of the event, whilst also allowing you to support your friends, family and charity teams
Positions that need filling on the day are:
Making sure the runners stay safely on the course.
We require approximately 150 volunteer marshals to operate the event safely, so please support the event and its good causes.
You don’t need any experience to take part in the Guernsey Marathon as a volunteer. You just need between 4-7 hours free on Race Day and be willing to join in the fun. We will provide full training and you will receive a marathon marshal t-shirt and packed lunch.
Volunteers should be over the age of 18 on the day of the race or should be part of a recognised group under the supervision of a leader over the age of 18.
